Thanks to many of you, the CJO’s end of the FY26 fiscal year campaign exceeded its goal and helped us end the year with a small surplus! This is a rare feat for many performing arts organizations in this post-COVID era: thank you!

Stocks and Investments – Consider investing in the future of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to charity. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.
Donor Advised Funds – As a 501(c)3 organization, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra may receive grants from your Donor Advised Fund. Please contact your investment advisor or donor advised fund sponsor for specifics about initiating your gift.
IRA Distributions – If you are age 73 or older, YOU can make a tax-free distribution from your individual retirement account to the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra of up to $100,000 each year without tax penalties.
